Our Mission: Impacting the Kingdom of God one person at a time
 USBC Sermon Series
Sermons by Pastor Dennis Felder
(unless specified)

In the month of September, I will be sharing the sermon series, Fear Not.
In a world filled with constant change, uncertainty, and chaos, fear often becomes a daily companion.
The Bible, however, calls believers to live differently – with courage, faith, and peace.
The Fear Not sermon series explores the recurring, comforting command found throughout Scripture: “Do not be afraid.”

Sept. 7th
Sermon Title: Healthy and Unhealthy Fear
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7
Synopsis: There is healthy and unhealthy fear, we need to know the difference so we can respond appropriately. Unhealthy fear is the kind that paralyzes, controls, and steals our peace. It doesn’t come from God. On the other hand, healthy fear is rooted in reverence for God. It involves an awareness of His greatness, justice, and holiness.

Sept. 14th
Sermon Title:A Proper Place
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7
Synopsis: Fear has a proper place, and it’s in the hands of God. Left in our own hands, fear can spiral into anxiety, doubt, and spiritual paralysis. But when we surrender our fears to God, we find peace and perspective.

Sept. 21st
Sermon Title:Focused On Today
Scripture: Matthew 6:11 & Matthew 6:34
Synopsis: When we stay fully present in today, we’re able to hear God clearly, recognize His blessings, and respond to the opportunities and needs in front of us. Far too often, our minds are living in next week, next year, or a future we’ve imagined in fear. But Jesus continues to redirect our focus back to the present, where His grace is active and sufficient.

Sept. 28th
Sermon Title: You’re Not Alone
Scripture: John 16:33
Synopsis: This truth is crucial in times of fear, grief, or uncertainty. You are never alone. The Savior who conquered death is present in your struggles, offering peace the world cannot give and strength the world cannot match. His promise is not to remove every hardship but to remain with you through it all—guiding, comforting, and strengthening you until the very end.
